Solution-focused brief therapy is designed to create meaningful change in a limited number of sessions. It's goal-based, future-oriented, and emphasizes client strengths.

There are hundreds of mindfulness and wellness techniques that can be applied in support of increasing emotional regulation. I can help you build your toolbox of strategies for calming your nervous system and finding embodied grounding.
What to expect in therapy
​​​I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (TEAM-CBT) in my treatment of anxiety and depression.

The E in the name is for Empathy. TEAM-CBT prioritizes deep empathic understanding of client's feelings and thoughts. Empathy is foundational. You first need to be heard.
T is for Testing, and I ask you to complete brief pre- and post-surveys each session. These tools allow us to quickly discuss where you are at the beginning of each session and also track your process progress over time. Testing also shows me how I can improve.
A is for Agenda setting. We'll get very clear on your goals before working on them. M is for methods. Methods can from any therapeutic modality can be integrated, and we'll collaboratively and creatively work to find the ones that are most effective for your specific issue.
The model sets a very high bar for therapists. ​I appreciate how this model is highly strengths-based and integrative. ​​​
